The current uberOptions does work with SetPoint 6.00+ mostly, you just have to specify the new locations of the files uberOptions needs to install. UberOptions works with SetPoint 4.80 currently. After you have finished updating, re-install uberOptions.

Since the Forward/Back actions use Application Specific settings on those buttons to send different events depending on what exe has focus, the fix I'm using only works for the default two buttons.Install my uberOptions pack to change the device settings for SetPoint! All it took was editing some XML files. On older versions of SetPoint, the Forward and Back actions don't work with Firefox, Opera, SlimBrowser, or Maxthon (they need another AppOverride to tell SetPoint what keystroke to send, since Logitech didn't just have them send the normal mouse4/mouse5 events for unknown apps). The buttons you can configure, you can't set to some options (no Launch Program on mouse buttons, etc.).SetPoint's default settings won't let you change settings on some buttons (such as Left Button, Right Button, and Tilt Left/Right on mice and volume and media control keys on keyboards). There were a couple features on my last mouse (Logitech MX Revolution) that I still miss, but if you're a fan of extremely high mouse sensitivity, a 5600 DPI laser is a thing of beauty. At the max DPI setting I have my control panel set one below max, and it takes me less than an inch of movement to move the pointer completely across two 1920 screens (I use low acceleration) and the movement is still 100% smooth as well. I use a Cyborg RAT7 DPI, and the smoothness is amazing. Even a good 800 DPI laser mouse will perform significantly better, but a 3600 DPI+ laser is best to be sure. If you really want to crank your sensitivity up high you need a laser mouse. I put one of my old optical mice on my backup PC a few weeks ago, and with Setpoint maxed, and the control panel set to maybe 60-70%, it moves in jumps of 3 or 4 pixels at a time, and i still significantly less sensitive than my main mouse.Įven maxing both, which resulted in jumps of 10ish pixels at a time, it was still not as sensitive as I like. Optical mice tend to exhibit this problem fairly severely when you start to increase sensitivity regardless. That said, your mouse is optical rather than laser.

Max that one first before you use the windows control panel one. The Logitech Setpoint driver should have an option for mouse sensitivity in there.
